Legal Bases for Processing

Sharing Your Personal Data

jlking does not sell your personal data to third parties. We share your personal data only in the following circumstances and with the following categories of recipients:

Payment service providers (GCash, PayMaya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, UnionBank) — to process deposits and withdrawals initiated by you;
Game content providers (e.g., Pragmatic Play, JILI, PG Soft) — technical data necessary to deliver game sessions, subject to confidentiality agreements;
Identity verification providers — personal data and identification documents shared for KYC processing, under strict data processing agreements;

🔒 Third-Party Data Processors

All third parties with whom jlking shares personal data in their capacity as data processors — rather than independent controllers — are required to enter into data processing agreements with jlking that impose obligations no less protective than those required under the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

jlking employs a combination of technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, and destruction. These measures include, but are not limited to:

256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and jlking's servers;
Encryption at rest for sensitive personal data stored in jlking's databases, including financial data and identification documents;
Role-based access controls limiting employee access to personal data to only those with a legitimate operational need;
Multi-factor authentication for jlking staff accessing internal systems containing personal data;
Regular security audits and penetration testing of jlking's platform infrastructure;

In the event of a personal data breach that poses a real risk of serious harm, jlking will notify the National Privacy Commission within seventy-two (72) hours of becoming aware of the breach, and will notify affected members without undue delay, as required by NPC Circular No. 16-03.

8.1 What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by jlking.co when you visit the platform. They help jlking remember your preferences, maintain your login session, and collect analytical information about how the platform is used.

8.2 Types of Cookies Used by jlking

Essential cookies: Required for the platform to function — these enable login session management, game state preservation, and security features. They cannot be disabled without preventing platform use;

Account data and KYC records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years following account closure, in compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and PAGCOR record-keeping requirements;
Transaction and financial records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of the transaction;
Gaming activity logs: Retained for a minimum of three (3) years from the date of the session;
Customer support communications: Retained for two (2) years from the date of the last interaction; and
Technical and security logs: Retained for twelve (12) months, except where retained longer due to an ongoing security investigation.

Following expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised in accordance with jlking's data disposal procedures.

jlking will respond to rights requests within fifteen (15) calendar days of receipt. Where a request cannot be fulfilled within this period — for example, due to complexity or volume — jlking will notify you and provide an estimated completion date. Where jlking is unable to fulfil a request, it will explain the reason in writing. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission if you are dissatisfied with jlking's response.

Children's Privacy — 21+ Only

jlking's platform is strictly intended for adults aged 21 years and above, in compliance with PAGCOR's online gaming regulations. jlking does not knowingly collect or process personal data belonging to persons under the age of 21.

If jlking discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe that personal data has been collected from a person under 21, jlking will immediately suspend the relevant account, delete the personal data collected, and notify the appropriate authorities where required. Parents or guardians who believe their child has registered with jlking should contact the Data Protection Officer via live chat immediately.

⚠️ Age Verification Is Mandatory

jlking employs age verification procedures during registration and KYC to enforce the 21+ requirement. Providing a false date of birth constitutes a breach of jlking's Terms & Conditions and may constitute a criminal offence under Philippine law.

Section 12

Cross-Border Data Transfers

Some of jlking's service providers — including game content providers, cloud infrastructure providers, and security service providers — may be located outside the Philippines. When jlking transfers your personal data outside the Philippines, it does so only:

To countries whose data protection laws have been recognised by the National Privacy Commission as providing adequate protection equivalent to that afforded under the Data Privacy Act; or
Under contractual safeguards — specifically, data transfer agreements incorporating the standard contractual clauses recommended by the NPC — that legally bind the recipient to protect your personal data to the same standard as required in the Philippines.

jlking will not transfer your personal data internationally for purposes beyond those set out in this Privacy Policy, and will not transfer data to jurisdictions where such transfer would be prohibited by Applicable Laws.

Marketing Communications

With your consent, jlking may send you marketing communications — including bonus offers, game updates, VIP programme notifications, and promotional announcements — via SMS to your registered Philippine mobile number and/or email to your registered address.

You may withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time by:

Withdrawal of consent for marketing communications will not affect the delivery of transactional communications — such as deposit confirmations, withdrawal notifications, account security alerts, and important platform updates — which jlking is required to send to you as a member.

jlking does not share your personal data with third-party marketers. All promotional communications you receive from jlking originate from jlking itself and are directly related to your account and available promotions on jlking.co.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

jlking reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in applicable law, regulatory guidance, jlking's data processing practices, or the services offered on the platform.
